Pulse CPSEA Announces: Great 'Last Chance' Opportunity for Long Island Nonprofits to Help Make Health Care Safer

PSE Fund

Symposium to provide funding for patient safety education.

Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education and Advocacy (CPSEA) has announced an unprecedented opportunity for community organizations on Long Island, with a special extra for nonprofits. But the deadline is approaching fast!

On May 4, Pulse CPSEA will hold a free Spring Patient Safety Education Symposium. All community organizations are invited to attend but in addition, any officially nonprofit group that registers and sends representatives can apply for a grant from the Patient Safety Education Fund (follow link for grant criteria).

These grants will provide tools [for nonprofits] to educate the communities they serve.

Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy

These grants will provide tools to educate the communities they serve with information and programs that equip patients to engage in their own health care, for the best possible outcomes. But don’t delay! Event registration closes April 1, 2018.

Symposium details:
Date: May 4, 2018
Time: Noon to 5:00 PM
Place: 1393 Veterans Highway, Hauppauge, NY

The symposium will feature a number of high-profile experts from the world of patient safety improvement.

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is a must for anyone from Nassau or Suffolk Counties, Long Island, who represents an organization or agency in a position to share the information they learn with other community members. How to share that information will be discussed during small group discussions with our experts.

Two invitations are being extended to each organization. Due to limited space, seating is strictly limited. Organizations chosen to participate will be notified by April 10, 2018.
