Safety Pioneer David Marx to Speak at PULSE of NY Patient Safety Event

PULSE of NY's second annual symposium, "The Changing Culture of Healthcare: Impacting Patient Safety," will be held on April 20, 2015, featuring speaker David Marx.

PULSE of NY’s second annual symposium, “The Changing Culture of Healthcare: Impacting Patient Safety,” will be held on April 20, 2015 at The Holiday Inn, 215 Sunnyside Blvd, Plainview. This event is a learning opportunity for healthcare providers as well as community members.

Internally recognized safety pioneer David Marx, JD, will speak on the practice of “Just Culture.” David Marx authored the National Institutes of Health document, “Patient Safety and the ‘Just Culture’: A Primer for Healthcare Executives” and served as an advisor to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Human Factors Research Program and to the NASA Space Shuttle Program.
